Homelss Veterans Supportive Services for Veteran Families Program
Under the SSVF program, the Dept. of Veterans Affairs awards grants to private non-profit organizations and consumer cooperatives who can provide supportive services to very low-income Veteran families living in or transitioning to permanent housing.  Agencies provide wrap-around, supportive services, with a special focus on providing permanent housing, to eligible Veteran families who without SSVF assistance would likely be homeless.
